As the year 2020 came to a close, the fast food industry's pivot to digital was more apparent than ever. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a snapshot of how the leading fast food and fast casual restaurant apps performed on the iOS platform in Latin America during the fourth quarter.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw a consistent trend in downloads, peaking at around 56K in late November. Weekly active users fluctuated, starting at roughly 332K at the beginning of the quarter and experiencing a peak of around 366K in the same week as the download peak.

Next, Burger King Brasil experienced its highest number of downloads in late November with approximately 24K. The app's weekly active users showed a steady increase from around 121K to 134K during the quarter, before a slight dip to 122K by year's end.

The Habib's app, with a more modest user base, reached its highest number of downloads in the third week of November, at nearly 19K. Its weekly active users saw a significant jump during the same period, from 25K to 38K, ending the quarter with around 28K active users.

Domino's Pizza México also witnessed a rise in engagement, with downloads surging to over 8K in the final week of December. The app's active users grew from about 29K at the start of the quarter to over 33K by the end of December.

Lastly, Burger King® Argentina maintained a steady download rate, peaking at roughly 5K in late September. The app's weekly active users saw a gradual increase, starting at around 10K and reaching over 13K by the close of the quarter.
